As I sit here, the kids are sleeping. A quiet moment during the day. Soon, I will join them and take a nap. First, however, I reflect on the many people who have served our country, to provide freedoms for everyone. Our freedoms are not automatic. There are people who want to take these freedoms away.

I am reminded of Paul’s letter to Timothy where he said in 2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith” Only can our country continue to live in freedom if we stand up and fight for our freedoms we all hold so dearly. We will only preserve freedoms if we obliterate the evil that wishes to wipe us from the earth.
